Who operates the App?

Who Knows? is offered under the AEK1000 developer name. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact the support email shown below. If the Google Play developer name changes, this notice will be updated.

Information we process

Account and identity: a Supabase-generated user ID for guest accounts; when you choose Google sign-in or account linking, authentication identifiers and account information needed for that sign-in (which may include your email and name).

Profile information you provide: username, optional display name, country code, and optional profile photo.

Gameplay information: quiz answers and session status, levels completed, stars, achievements, scores, streaks, leaderboard progress, Hearts, Coins, hints and reward ledger events.

Support and user submissions: reports of question problems, feedback and information you send when asking for help.

Technical and diagnostic information: app events, pseudonymous IDs, installation identifiers, device and app details, crash traces and error diagnostics through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.

Notifications: a push notification token, platform and app version when notification services are active. Network providers may process IP addresses and related connection metadata to provide their services.

Why we use this information

To create and secure your account; synchronize and restore your game progress; calculate levels, Hearts, Coins, rewards and rankings; deliver requested notifications; investigate content reports; detect abuse; diagnose crashes; and understand which features need improvement.

Some data is necessary to provide the gameplay and account services you request. Other processing, such as analytics or notifications, depends on app configuration, device settings and applicable legal requirements.

Services and sharing

We use Supabase for authentication, database storage, account/game state and optional profile image storage. We use Google services for optional sign-in and Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging as enabled in the released app.

These service providers may process information on our behalf, including outside your country. We may also disclose information when lawfully required or to protect the App and its users. We do not represent that data never leaves our systems or that no third-party service processes it.

The App does not currently offer real-money prizes. This notice is not a promise that optional advertising or paid features will never be introduced; any material change would require updated disclosures.

Security and international processing

We use authentication controls, access restrictions and encrypted network connections to protect information. No online system is guaranteed completely secure. Supabase infrastructure and Google services may process data across jurisdictions subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.

Retention and account deletion

We generally retain account-linked information while your account is active or as needed to deliver the App. When your deletion request is verified and processed, we delete the account and associated game/profile data from active systems, subject to information we may need to retain for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution or technical backups.

Some provider-managed diagnostic records, backups and aggregated statistics may persist for limited periods under the provider's retention processes. We do not promise immediate erasure from every backup.

You can request account deletion directly inside the App through Profile > Delete account. You can also request deletion without the App through the Delete Your Account page linked in the site navigation. We may need to verify your identity before deleting an account.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may edit certain profile details, manage device notification permissions and request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and identity verification.

For Google sign-in, you can also manage your Google account permissions through your Google account settings. Revoking Google access alone does not necessarily delete your Who Knows? account.

Children and families

The App is a general-audience knowledge and puzzle game. Parents or guardians should supervise younger users and contact us if they believe a child has supplied information improperly. Any applicable age requirements and Google Play declarations must be reviewed for the release's actual intended audience.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the App, service providers or legal requirements change. We will revise the date shown on this page and provide additional notice when required. Contact us using the email below for questions or privacy requests.
